both. for international games, Lebron at PF isn't a stretch at all, even with his lol post-game. and he can play a 'point forward' role from there that gives the team a secondary distributor and great defense.

Durant, on the other hand, should probably be leading the team in scoring (and if he isn't, he's not needed there.)

Everyone in here is riding the emotional high from the Lebron Hatred Year and his bad Finals so they're going to say Durant.

These people don't know what they're talking about even though they swear they do in the most boisterous fashion.

Even more funny is that people forget that Melo was the star last time around at the 3 because of his ability to dominate the European Style game. Lebron will most likely play the 4.

BlAcK TuRtLe grabbed the Guru victory, slow but steady.

LeBron by far, he's at his best during the important games and he can own teams with 2 amputees on his team.

The guy has one bad series after carrying his team through the ECF and suddenly he's abysmal at basketball and no longer a 6'9 270 lbs freak athlete. In international play, you could probably put him as a 2, 3, or 4 depending on who you want to start around him.

I agree with the whole start Durant at 3 and Lebron at 4 theory, because really, who is an elite American 4?

But if i have to pick Lebron over Durant, easily. He's the best player in the world.

I'm starting to think "Ulti is always wrong" is a good motto to follow when it comes to sports and politics.

Anyone who knows anything about basketball would start Lebron over Durant, no question. Now, I love the Thunder to death, and I believe that they're the best up-and-coming team the league has seen in a while. The chemistry between Westbrook and Durant is underrated, and Westbrook himself has the potential to make an excellent PG in a season or two. But there's a reason most every commentator considers Lebron the best all-around player in the league: not only is he freakishly athletic, he's also a team player. Yes, a team player. Just look at what he did with the Cavaliers; look at his APG; look at how much he's developed at the point. His flawless passing game, solid rebounding skills, and dominance on the paint are just icing on the cake.

But what really pushes Lebron over Durant is his defense. Even if you can make a (scanty) argument in favor of Durant > Lebron purely in terms of offense, Lebron wins hands-down on the defensive end. That's enough to put him handily on top.
