You realize that the 3D has zero effect on the games, right? That's why you can turn it off. It literally means nothing and is simply an optional feature for your... Regular games.

No kidding. I came in skeptical but I made sure to play that game in 3D as much as possible; it's a perfect example of 3D done right to really enhance your experience with the game.

~N64 graphics vs. Wii graphics on machines the same size (Lite v. 3DS). Yeahhh. Only downside that keeps my DS Lite relevant is the lack of a GBA slot on the 3DS, as well as the wider top screen on the 3DS stretching the graphics of DS games.

1. It does. I'm not a huge fan of 3D but I made an effort to play OoT in 3D whenever I could because it enhanced my experience with the game. I'm not saying that applies everywhere; I certainly feel no need to turn 3D on to play Find Mii or anything along that line, but it does make a difference with the right game.

2. Is it not? Were the DS' graphics closer to Gamecube? Feel free to correct me if I was wrong. Regardless though, my point still stands that it is a significant upgrade.

You know that if I had mentioned OoT, Liquid would have went into "LOL PORTS AND REMAKES" mode like usual.

I'm not saying DoA and RR are reasons to drop $250. You drop the $250 if you're interested in the upcoming Nintendo lineup and such. But they're sitting there going "LOL NO GOOD GAMES. ZERO. NONE." when it, in reality, has much better games than stuff like the PSP did four months after launch.

as far as I can tell (own SSF4 on 3DS & PS3) it's the same thing but with graphics downgraded a bit and portable
