Aya/Shepard/Wesker/Shadow/Volnutt have challenged Athos/Cielo/Agahnim/Ganondorf/Roo to a fight! Location of the fight: neutral, nondescript terrain. Which side will win?

Guidelines

- The fight will occur in real-time (like an FMV sequence). Gameplay mechanics are less important than how the characters would function in a real-time environment.

- The members of each team are ideal teammates capable of a pre-selected plan of battle.

- "Broken" refers to a lot of things, including insta-death, auto-effects, a variety of status effects (e.g., Imp, Silence, Stop, *not* Poison), and revival. Unless stated otherwise, nobody has them, though do use your own discretion.

- There may be SPOILERS from all of the games the characters are from.

Rules for Voting

- Bold your votes (using and ).

- Provide a justification for why you think the selected team would win. Fanboy logic, ignoring character assumptions or rules, and vague or unintelligible justifications are all grounds for having your vote disqualified.

- If you want to switch your votes simply bold the change; there's no need to delete your post, though you may if you wish.

- This match will end in 24 hours.

Aya Brea is as she appears in Parasite Eve 2. She is wearing a Tactical Armor with the Holy Water, Ofuda, Skull Crystal, Ringer's Solution/Recovery 3 attachments. She has access to her MM1 (Airburst), Gunblade (Firefly), M4A1 Javelin (Laser), Hypervelocity, Mongoose (.44 Maeda SP), MP5A5 (9mm Spartan), AS12 (R. Slug), Tonfa Baton, and has plenty of ammo for them all. All her magic is at Level 3.

Volnutt/Megaman Trigger is as he appears in the Megaman Legends series and Tatsunoko vs Capcom. He has all his weapons from Legends 2 including the Homing Missiles and Shining Laser, they're all upgraded, and the only items he has are the Kevlar Armor and Jet Skates. He also has all his moves from TvC (including the Max Shining Laser Max super), save for gameplay mechanic-y moves. Additionally he has downloaded the memories of Duke, Kane, Chief, allowing him to naturally know a similar style to the way they fight and giving him the x-3000, dark matter gun, and sniper rifle.

Shadow appears as he does in the Sonic series. He does not have access to Chaos Control/Blast/Rift. He has brought his shadow rifle to battle.

Albert Wesker is as he appears in the Resident Evil series post-resurrection and will maintain a balanced level of PG67A/W throughout the battle. He brings to battle his H&K SL8 Semi-Automatic Rifle, Grenade Launcher (Acid/Nitrogen), MRL, Hydra, L. Hawk, H&KMP5, 5x Grenades, and a first aid spray. All of his weapons are maxed out.

Commander Shepard is how he appears at the end of Mass Effect 2, all DLC included, and everything available maxed out. His background is an Earthborn with a War Hero psychological profile. He's a Soldier, his selection for Advanced Weapon Training is Revenant, and he has all related talents, trainings, and weapons available to him (yes this includes stuff like the M-920 Cain and M-490 Blackstorm). Even though he's not from the class, he also has the Slam bonus talent. As long as it's not contradictory, outside canon material is, of course, valid.

Agahnim has all of his abilities displayed from his endgame fight in LttP, where he gets two shadow clones. He can be damaged by other means that reflecting his magic back at him.

Ganondorf is as he appears in the final boss fight of Twilight Princess, wielding his large sword. He also possesses flight and the ability to shoot balls of dark magic at his foes (both as seen in Ocarina of Time), as well as his Brawl moveset. Finally, he may transform into and back from his Beast Ganon form as seen in [A Link to the Past/Twilight Princess] at will during the fight.

Roo is as in his playable form from Streets of Rage 3. The opposing team will not attack Roo until he first attacks someone on the opposing team, or until Roo is the last remaining fighter on his team. Roo has turned into Pyramid Head.

Cielo is as he appears in Digital Devil Saga 2. Regarding spells and skills, he has all his gun skills, Void spells, elementals up to Ma_dyne, Xanadu, Wicked Curse, non-revival healing, non-ID Hunt skills, Chi Wave, Power Wave, Executioner, Megido, Megidola, and all buffs and debuffs. The only passive skills he has are Phys Resist, Resolution, Life Surge. He may freely turn into any of his 3 forms - demon, human, or the hybrid.

Athos is as seen in Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword, a Level 20/20 Archsage. He has Forblaze, Luna, Bolting, Ecalibur, Luce, Fortify. In addition, he knows and is a master of every magic spell possessed by all his allied fighters participating in the battle, though only of their base forms, before abilities or transformations take effect.

team aya's argument -

First off, it make take a year and a half for him to shamble over there, but whoever Pyramid Head decides to can opener is going to go down FAST. Speaking of fast, can anyone on the other team even hit Cielo? Athos is a beast mage with everything he has at his disposal and Aga isn't even a slouch either with those shadow clones backing him up. Add all that up with some Ganondorf muscle backing them up and I don't see how Team Pyramid Head doesn't walk away with this one.

I gotta disagree with team Aya here - I think Team Shepard cleanly outclasses them. Pyramid head will take forever to get there, and by the time he does The combined might of Shepard/Aya/Shadow/Trigger/Wesker will have destroyed the squishy mages anyway, which means they can get started on taking him down. Pretty obvious imo

Dante I will break you.

Correction, I did break you.

I will break you again if you don't re-read my argument and come to the right conclusion.

No one on the other team can hit Cielo. And if you vote against my team, I specifically want a given, logical reason using evidence from both the DDS series and whatever games the opponents come from for how anyone on the other team can hit Cielo. What's more, no one can hit Athos since he transforms into Cielo, and his shadow clones follow suit.

Look at this:

"Shepard/Aya/Shadow/Trigger/Wesker "

Shepard, Shadow, and Wesker CANNOT hit Cielo. It is absolutely, 100% impossible for them to harm Cielo, and by extension Athos, as they are simply too slow. This isn't wild guessing, I have played DDS games and the games those characters came from and I know without a shadow of a doubt that those three are incapable of harming Cielo. For all intents and purposes, Cielo and Athos are invincible to those three. You say PH will take I while to get to them? I say who the hell cares, they basically cannot harm half of my team.

That's what I tried to convey in my argument, GANON. Good looking out.

Team Cielo. Can anyone even hi...yeah. Neutral still isn't a terribly great terrain for Shepard, since he wants some kind of cover to recharge his shields with, and he doesn't get that here. Figure he gets squished by the mage barrage, Shadow isn't really durable enough to tank it either and probably dies somewhere in the crossfire. Cielo flies around and goes pew pew. Beast Ganon provides an important distraction by being very big and bull-like, meaning the gun squad probably isn't going to be focusing on the mages at first, and then Pyramid Roo gets a free kill on someone as soon as he manages to waddle up. Yeah

Well if you want me to.

Team Pyramid Head

Athos + Clones can wipe out any of the non Shadow (unless he's not dodging, then he also dies easily) non Wesker guys with one volley of triple Luna. How many of those he gets off is the key to this fight. Ganondorf is tanky and can probably charge right into the gunners. Kinda think they'll prioritize the thing charging them rather than the old guy casting. So Athos likely kills one guy before the gunners realize that he's the threat to prioritize first-- but then there's the whole "three of them which do I shoot" so I could see him picking off two before he's heavily under fire with the support he's got. The other key here I think is in Pyramid Head, who basically kills a guy in one shot-- and he's gonna have ample time to lumber over the opposing team while Cielo is tough to hit and Ganon tanks. If guys are bunched up he may even get two. So between Athos and PH alone you've got three deaths probably before they're in any danger of dying. Cielo and what's left of Athos/PH/Agahnim/Ganon (the latter two probably do very little... one from being pin cushioned, the other from being Agahnim) can probably handle the rest.
