I used to watch it impressively but I took a break from it about six months back. Still as good as I remembered it, maybe even better. Aaron eckhart was unbelievable. Gary oldman was his usual amazing. The plot is needlessly complicated and convoluted at points but it's a christopher nolan movie and not only do you expect it but he does a great job of masking it with entertaining and well directed shots. The street chase scene where they flip the truck is still every bit as gaudy and brilliant as it was all those years ago.

Lastly I stand by my opinion that Heath Ledger put on one of the top 5 performances of my lifetime perhaps all time. It's up with Daniel Day Lewis in There Will Be Blood and Jack's performance in Chinatown. Roles where the characters took over the movie and completely made them their own. In a movie that aimed to be dark and troubled, Heath guaranteed it's success in such a department by playing the Joker to his maximum effectiveness. He's crazy but never seems to lose control of any situation. He's aware of his own insanity and revels in the freedom it begets him. The little tics and idiosyncrasies say it all. He could've spoken not a line and still passed off his characteristics with these alone.

I didn't find inception as riveting as others. Leo was legit as always but I didn't enjoy the rest of the supporting cast. I found the movie to be kinda plodding at certain points. The stuff towards the end became needlessly complicated, nolan signature, but it just kept adding on so I couldn't forget.

I found Dark Knight very underwhelming. Maybe it was all the people calling it the greatest movie of all time, but I would probably rank it as simply above average.

Katie Holmes is definitely better than whatever trash they replaced her with for the sequel. I couldn't stand that chick, she wasn't even good looking, luckily we won't have to deal with her next movie. Hopefully Batman will find his next romance in Catwoman aww yeah.

Oh but the Dark Knight is still much better than Batman Begins. Scarecrow is my favorite villain, yet in the Nolan Bat-verse, his Scarecrow just isn't as amazing as that JOKER.

I've always been really stubbornly augh about when an actor or actress changes -- especially over the course of something as relatively quick as a movie trilogy. That replacement still irks me. Oh well.

Molly was the superior Rachel but she wasn't attractive enough to make sense. The professional is one of my 5 favorite movies ever so I tend to agree there.
