That battle HUD takes some getting used to. Other than that the game looks fine, though the faces are pretty generic.

it didn't bother me when I played it. it is kinda jarring when watching it, I guess. shouldn't be a gamebreaking thing, at least.

I find it pretty intrusive. It might be something you get accustomed to when you're playing, but it jumps out at me as being sloppy and distracting whenever I see a screenshot or video. It's not a dealbreaker or anything, but yuck.

that's some average voice acting and average gameplay

the sense of scale is pretty cool, but even that is kind of undermined by sound engineering that was taken from the n64 era of game development

*Awkward voice acting from the main character when he goes crazy on the macines.
*FMV's look worse than real-time graphics.
*I really dislike the MMO/FF12 style battle system. If the customization is good, it might be alright. It just doesn't look too fun.
*Soundtrack is awesome.
*The last 15 seconds (when the camera zooms out) is actually really, really cool.
