In old 2D Zelda games, including Link's Awakening, Link gains the ability to swing his sword with his right hand based on whether you're facing left or right.

But in Link's Awakening, he ALWAYS holds his shield in his right hand, and he can hold out both his shield and his sword at the same time.

Therefore, Link has two right hands.

Therefore, both of Link's hands are black cats.

Well, his shield is strapped to his arm isn't it? He could still hold the sword with the same hand then.

...You know, the strangest thing about this is that this problem only occurs when facing right. If they wanted to do that, don't you think they'd be uniform and put the same problem in when facing up/down? But nope, they make sure he uses the same hand when swinging his sword up and when swinging it down, but screwed up when he's facing left and right. So weird...

He also does his sword spin clockwise when facing to the right but does it counter-clockwise otherwise.

I never noticed this before. This is going to be one of those "never unsee" things, except this one is WAAAAAY stronger than almost all the rest, at least for me.
