Board 8 > Is Twilight Princess better on Gamecube or Wii?

I didn't really like the Wii version, but that was mainly due to the controls.. I'm considering trying it again for GC but I'm not sure if its worth it or not.

If you don't like the Wii controls than obviously a normal controller is better.

If you don't like the game, then it's probably still not worth it though.

Best Zelda game aside from A Link to the Past and The Wind Waker.

I think the Wii controls make shooting and menus better, not so much swordplay.

I own the game on Wii, but played it at a friend on the GC once, and I think Wii's controls are a lot better for sure. The GC controller just feels limited compared to the Wii remote + nunchuck.

Wii version isn't worth it since the swordplay is just waggle. Get the GameCube version.

I prefer Twilight Princess to Ocarina of Time. Neither one is an all-time favorite of mine though.

I've played Minish Cap but I never beat it. I've played the first few screens of Zelda 1 but yeah.

So A Link to the Past is the only 2D Zelda I've beaten, and I'm not very interested in any other 2D Zelda aside from Link's Awakening.

The Oracles are the best 2D Zeldas, but you probably have already formed an opinion on those.

I owned both. I didn't beat it until I bought it for wii. I found those controllers more fun(wii was new and all).

Waggle controls are unnecessary, but on the other hand, the improved aim for ranged weapons more than makes up for it imo.

A mini-game with 8 stages that only 4 of them actually worth something means so much to you? ok..

Definitely Gamecube because you're Albion and if I say Wii you'll never play TP all the way through

How so? For me, they worked perfectly IIRC (though a person's memory isn't the most reliable thing, I'll admit that much).

The Wii version doesn't REALLY require waggle. The problem is that it WOULD be less tedious to map the sword swing to a button.
