this season seems like it's set to be absolutely awesome btw. so far we've had an amazing marceline, ice king, and now bubblegum episode and it looks like the next is gonna be a lumpy space princess one

I liked the ending. It's p cool to switch it up every now and again ya know?

One week you'll get a moral lesson about working together or not fighting to end the episode on, the next you'll get Jake farting from inside Finn's pocket*, and then you'll get a depressing commentary on love and how some things in life just don't work out. It just wouldn't be as goofy and random if all the eps ended on something goofy and random.

*Probably my favorite ending yet, between that and the Peppermint Butler "I will take [your flesh] from you while you sleep" and then Finn and Jake's smiles transgress into frowns. The best!

That one is kinda similar in tone to that ending with the rainicorns and the "Soy People" thing where Finn eats it and enjoys it.
