I generally made the list in short 20 minute sessions. It took me about 4 hours total to make it. However, this is a revision of an earlier rankup of all 649, so it was easier to construct the top 50.

What makes Nosepass so awful? He has a neat design. I honestly could not call him the worst pokemon ever. Don't forget, there are 479 pokemon better than it. Must I always rank everything how everyone else wants them to be ranked?

I agree about Leafeon, though. I was also disappointed in Glaceon. I love Ice types, and it just didn't do it justice.

Timburr is pretty good, unlike its two evolutions.

Porygon Z is okay, but I'm annoyed how it ditched Porygon2's sharp look.

Tropius is underrated, and is one of the few pokemon that deserves a prevo.

Wailmer is adorable.

I never really saw how Boufallant is a rip-off of Tauros. I've never seen people call Carracosta a ripoff of Blastoise despite how both are sea tortoises.

I think it was less that they were calling Bouffalant a Tauros rip-off, and more that they for some reason thought/wanted it to be a Tauros evolution. At least, that was the general idea on the Pokemon Black board when it was first revealed.

Anyway, Vulpix over 250 places too low.

Palpitoad is another one of those underrated Gen V gems. Lovin' the armless design. Too bad GF ruined the line with Seismitoad.

I do like Accelgor and Escavalier, but they feel very out of place in a pokemon game with the armor.

Underappreciated pokemon include Camerupt, Toxicroak, Venipede, and Hippowdon.

I used to hate Amoongus, but it has grown on me since the time between the two rankups. Same thing applies to Gigalith and Chimecho.

I love Claydol's and Cofagrigus's designs. So spiffy and unique.

Rayquaza still has pink lipstick.

It's a shame that Maractus will most likely be the most forgotten pokemon of Gen V. I like it.
