Seems like a terrible idea for places like China and India. Does India have a one child per family rule also? I'm sure they at least vastly prefer men over women.

I dunno if a population of mostly men is really such a bad thing for places as overpopulated as india and china

but overall I see no real benefit to this.

kind of a pointless test. Might as well wait a few months so you can get a less invasive, and probably less expensive, procedure done.
