I've managed to get to where the plot kinda splits off with a party of Duran/Angela/Hawke (or maybe it was Lise? no clue) and have gotten at least two hours in with different characters no less than five times, but I can never finish this damned game for some reason

Thinking of having a party of Lise/Kevin/Angela, who should my main character be? Never played with Kevin in the party before somehow but only had Lise in the party once as well. Though I've had Angela in my party a bunch of times, I've never mained her either and I just kinda like her. Also class suggestions pl0x

but yeah, Maining different characters you either end up with Dragon's Hole/Dark Castle/Mirage Palace and a different final boss.

Castle > Hole(this has the SUPER SECRET BOSS though) > Palace. Same with the final boss fights.

which pairs go to which final zones, and are any especially heavy on physical/magic? dun care about getting spoiled much, so fire away imo

You should switch human control to Kevin regardless of which character you make the 'hero'.

He's going to be like 80% of the offense of that party.

Also, something kinda awesome I noticed while watching a LP earlier;

Isabella is in both this game and Sword of Mana. I never recognized her in this game before. >_>

Probably just a reference, but I thought it was cool. Dunno what the continuity in the Mana universe is.

Duran/Angela = Dragons hole. Bunch of Dragons and some other crap I can't remember.
Lise(or Riesz, either is fine):AMAZON EMPRESS OF AWESOME/Hawk(eye) = Dark Castle. Demons, sexy vampiresses, and werewolves.
Kevin/ Carlie(Charlotte or whatever the hell she goes by) = Mirage Palace. Beholders and undead.

Dragon's whole has the hardest boss in it(and I don't mean Black Rabite), but Dark castle is consistently slightly harder overall. I remember doing Mirage Palace once and it was boring.


Really, everyone's AI is fine, except for Duran's, who for some reason is always stupid. I usually never control Kevin because his AI does what Kevin is supposed to do anyways.
