My Score
8.8 - The first GBA RPG I've played and still the best (excluding magnificent remakes like FF5 and 6 Advance).. I like the original cast way better than Lost Age's cast and even with LA being more advanced in certain areas, the original (with Satauros and Menardi) still is the better game for me. Reason: I've replayed the original much more than the sequel.

It's boring to me. I can't think of anything done well aside from the music and the graphics (and maybe a few of the puzzles), but it's definitely not unplayable.

A solid 8.0

Lost Age is pretty much superior in everything aside from the playable cast and music, but it's still good. I really need to post Dark Dawn.

It was THE reason why I wanted a GBA at the time and I still think that it's a solid RPG, especially for the GBA.

Looks like we'll be disagreeing on this one; sorry, Axl. I could never even finish this. I get so bored. It just feels indescribably generic somehow. Like... the very definition of generic. I don't know, it's weird. But it is what it is. Still, a very generic JRPG is loads better than a particularly bad one, so...
