http://www.amazon.com/Sleep-Soundly-Melatonin-2-Ounce-Bottles/dp/B002VPEE7M/ref=sr_1_6?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1313488027&sr=1-6

melatonin

edit: ok...the bullet points

- melatonin is natural and produced by your body
- not addicting or chemical laden like other otc sleep stuffs can be
- liquid form is best absorbed and most cost effective i've found (the dose on these bottles is for 3.5 mg which is way more than you probably need...half that should suffice)

you could buy melatonin tablets in the store and get like...15-30 1-2 mg doses worth for $10. for this, you pay $15 and get 90 3.5 mg doses, or 180 1.75 mg doses.

oh. i guess there is that. good to know for the future though. i rarely have sleeping issues, but every now and then i get a bout of crazy insomnia or just want to be assured i get some sleep for some important event, and melatonin has been the thing that has worked the best for me that i have found.

different people take to things differently though, so your mileage may vary.

immediate use...mmm....got a pair of headphones on you?

you could give binaural beats a try. slightly different tonal sounds in either ear to create an audio illusion that works to shift your brain towards certain wavelengths. like ones promoting sleep and dreams (and lucid dreams <3)
