I live in New England, so an appropriate answer would be "erratic". In fact, I live 5 minutes from the beach in Rhode Island, so it's even more erratic than what is normally expected for New England.

Yeah our beaches suck ass. Red Tide is big here in the summer, and the smell is pretty bad. I'm not a big swimmer to begin with, but sometimes when the seaweed isn't so ****ing-everywhere I'll go down and have a swim.

This is a picture from one of the nearby beaches, Water shouldn't look so unappealing.



This is all near Newport and Middletown RI by the way. Easton's Beach (Or First Beach if you live here).

I will say though that the concession stand there makes the best ****ing nachos.

Sometimes I'll go down to the beach just to get nachos.

Let’s talk about my room. It’s layout could be better.

There are three separate outlets in opposite parts of my room. One in the corner, one in another corner, and one in the other corner near my bed. Outlet Numero Uno is reserved for the TV and video games and other assorted things. The power strip is absolutely saturated with plugs and s*** to things I don’t even use all that often. The Wii has dust on it.

Outlet Nummer Zwei is in a kind of secluded part of the room, so it’s mainly used for the computer, and that’s it. A s***ty computer by the way. Playing Team Fortress 2 is like playing a Powerpoint presentation. I”m shocked the thing plays Minecraft reasonably well on low settings without exploding.

And Outlet #3 is the one that makes me wish I had an extra power cord laying around. It’s near my bed, so that makes it a very convenient source of power. I can just roll over and bam, electricity. The problem is this: The outlet has 2 inputs, but I have 5 or 6 things that I want to plug in there at any one time. Right now it’s the clock and the lamp. Both very useful things. But then let’s say I want to plug in the fan? Weather is erratic in New England, even more so because I live in Rhode Island 5 minutes away from the beach. It’s either really hot and the rain boils, or you get a nice breeze from the ocean, or it snows in May. Today Mother Nature decides it to be hot, so the inability to plug my fan in without either plunging me in darkness or rendering me unable to tell whether it’s midnight or 2 in the morning kinda sucks. Then there’s the iPod charger, so that’s another decision. And after that is the keyboard (As in, a piano keyboard). So if I’m in a musical mood and need to charge my iPod at the same time, I better hope it’s a bright breezy day and I don’t need to be anywhere at any time.
