So what's going on with Peyton Manning? Is there a chance he misses the whole season?


I've done less research on fantasy football this year than any previous season and I have to say I'm pretty clueless right now.

I assumed all along Manning would play until I saw today that they went out and spent 4million on Kerry Collins.

Without Manning the value of all the colts receivers pretty much goes to s***.

I've drafted in a 10 team pay leauge so far. I feel pretty good about putting 20$ on this team:

RB Charles
RB McFadden
WR Fitzgerald
WR Colston
WR Maclin
Flex Moreno
TE Winslow
ST/D Eagles
K Hanson
B Hightower

Little nervous about not being able to get McFaddens handcuff because he's really injury prone.

And Donald Brown feels like a wasted pick at this point.

Got Ryan in the 8th round which was a steal.

I don't think there's any chance he misses the whole season. It's seeming fairly likely that he'll miss the first two or three games, though.

Yeah I think a couple of good QBs fell a bit in the draft. I know I picked Brady too early, especially in PPR, but picking on the end like that is always terrible.

QBs went pretty quick in my draft I think. Vick stuck around past Brady and Rodgers, but I had to pick up Ryan in the third round because by then schaub brees and rivers were gone.

It's usually wise to wait on a QB in single QB leagues.

With the exception of Manning and Bradys record seasons there's rarely a ton of separation in the top 10.

And even if you wait to pick one late and whiff there's still a good chance of getting a solid one off the waiver wire in the first few weeks. Orton and Vick for example went undrafted in most leagues last season. It happens every year.

Ofcourse the 2 years that I've won my pay league I took QB's fairly early. Manning with the 20th pick on year and Rivers with the 27th the other.

But we've had guys win it taking QBs late too.
