Ok I have a problem. My Black Mage is level 5 but still can only use level 1 magic. I need ice2 to kill the boss. What am I missing?

i save stated with 30 seconds left so i could cheat out a multi-target geomancer spell on the last chest to get the thunder scroll, did so, then got caught by that last fight on the way out and the only geomancer spell on that terrain is ****ing tornado

Ninja, Thief, Black Mage, Monk. Not so bad. Ninja and Black Mage are obviously strong. Thief's convenient at times though probably not a class you want to be all the time. Monk isn't especially helpful but it's not bad. No healing abilities though so I guess I'd have to steal an assload of items.

Three of the six starting classes too. Huh. I was hoping for something more exotic.

At least you have Ninja!

And I really want to do this, but won't have any time for this in the foreseeable future.

Fighting the sandworm is such a ***** when the extent of your healing ability is combining two potions into a 180 HP single-target heal ever time it's Lenna's turn... doesn't help that I started the fight with like half HP on everyone and I have battle settings on active and level 5 speed

essentially, yeah. but once you get the wind crystal and can actually change your job, try to do so. this will fix an error caused by using the codes.

Change it to what? Anything?

Also, did you set an official time limit?

yeah, change it to anything. with the job codes still in effect, it won't actually change the job, but just correct the little glitch.

i haven't set an official limit yet. probably do it tomorrow. it'll likely be around a week though.

A WEEK?

Why have I been playing so much today then? Man.... I just got past the Big Bridge, best FF song ever (well maybe except for some in FFX)

And then I just sat outside the first town in the second world and found this cheat where you are constantly in encounters, and I just hold turbo A and grind like crazy... 60K gilz from winning fights, aw yeah.... and then I spend it all on Hi-potions because I am ****ing sick of only being able to heal 180 HP at once... before Hi-potions I had to use elixirs if I wanted to heal more than 180, and even still that's just single-target.

I still haven't encountered much trouble so far, maybe because I overlevel so much, but I can't imagine how easy this game would be if I could choose my classes.

Summoner so far is pretty beast... so much damage, so much MP that it's not really an issue to spam. I hate how there's no skills other than Summon though, pretty boring.

Chemist is cool but her abilities aren't so great. I've been using Combine forever because potion+phoenix for a Full-Life is the best, and now I can make Regen with potion+Hi-potion. I just mastered her and all I got was this Revive ability... lame

Monk is great. Powerful hits, countering, Build Up is epic when it crits.

Ninja does tons of damage too now that I have 2 Orichalcon blades and a bunch of scrolls to throw. The only thing is that mastering it doesn't really provide anything useful considering I'm forced to stay as a Ninja ...

Just beat Fork Tower.

Time Mage destroyed the magic side using Comet and a Wall Ring.

Hunter demolished the strength side using Yoichi's Bow on !SShot and Hermes Shoes.
