No, but video games isn't supposed to be a physical activity, it's supposed to be what I do when I'm not being active, swinging a controller around defeats the purpose for me.

No, for ME specifically, they are a way of being lazy and relaxing. I don't play games to work out and I never will, I go outside for those types of things. If a game is requiring me to move more than my fingers, then it's not relaxing and defeats the purpose for ME.

There are exceptions of course, obviously I want to have fun with video games too, I just can't do that when I'm forced to use motion controls, they just feel unnatural to me, I can't get used to them, I can't stand them. I just really despise motion controls.

I couldn't play Twilight Princess on Wii, because the "motion" is just flailing. But Skyword Sword is supposed to at least be closer to representing what you're doing with the remote.

I've have Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, and I was unable to finish either because I couldn't handle the motion controls, which is VERY sad because those games are really fun. If only I could play with a regular controller.

ALttP is easily the best game in the series.

Skyward Sword actually does look pretty good. I really hope that is. It's too bad it suffers from Wii-mote disease.

Galaxy's motion controls are so unintrusive that I still have a hard time thinking it can actively detract from the gaming experience unless you're just totally biased against motion controls to begin with and you refuse to enjoy them even when they're implemented well.

But we've had this discussion before, so whatever.

Also, glad I'm not the only one who caught the reference in the topic title and original post.
