we're gonna start in a few minutes, but if you miss the first game because of patching you could hang out in the Board 8 room and type something if you want. we'll see a new message waiting for us after the first game and then can invite you to our awesome party. at least, I think that's how it works!

in the bottom right hand corner of the screen, one of the icons will say chat or room or something. it'll say to type in the room name to join it, just type "Board 8"

You're not really that bad. You were fine in the first 3v3 we had yesterday and in the 2v2. Past the... 7 minute mark or so, being bad doesn't really have that big of an impact on a team unless you're like... REALLY bad, and sitting on 4 mining bases w/ 5k in hand, okay, yeah, you just cost us the game b/c better players couldn't take more bases.

Poor players just can't be rushed b/c they won't have enough stuff out to put up any meaningful resistance. Once you get a critical mass of stuff out, it doesn't really matter, better players will just take more bases faster/cover with pressure/etc etc.

thanks! when we played some today, I felt better about how I played as well so it's not so bad. definitely got a lot to figure out still but I'm satisfied with how it's all going. these two days have been pretty fun! hopefully we can keep doing these things regularly.

i dont know if anyone does team monobattles for fun, but picking queens is probably the most fun unit one can pick

the one team monobattle we did yesterday was pretty cool I thought. gotta do more of those!

played two 1v1s last night, lost both. still yet to win a 1v1 game legit. my profile lists two wins but that's because the other guy quit as soon as the match started on both. it's rough out there!

day9 is so awesome. Watching on youtube isn't the best, he updates it a few days behind. But he's taking this week off, so no videos til next weekend anyway. daytv.blip.tv is where he uploads his videos first.
