Yeah, the best way to do it is just delete the teams who you aren't specifically sending e-mail invites to and then have everyone you've selected join the league.

i usually do just a six-man league with some friends, but we upped it to 8 this year

should i still go C/C/C/LW/LW/RW/RW/W/W/D/D/D/D/G/G with four bench spots, or lessen that a bit?

That seems like a pretty standard set-up and with only 8 players I think I'd keep it the way it is.

mock drafts are surprisingly fun.

if you guys had to pick, what draft position would you take? i'm leaning 6,7 or 8 in an 8-man.

I like mid picks in most drafts but I honestly think in an 8 team league I'd rather have 1st overall or close to it. You don't have to wait very long for your next picks and I'd be confident in my ability to grab some great guys later on. Getting someone like Ovechkin is worth it when you don't have to wait all that long to pick again. Really though, in an 8 team league I don't think draft position matters too much. In a 14 team league it makes more of a difference.

hmm, yeah you raise a good point about getting an earlier draft. basically comes down to something like stamkos/richards with 2 or 3, or ryan/kopitar with 7 or 8.

G: Quick / Ward / S. Mason
