Lucas, we know that you didn't plan for the first three episodes to be so stupid when you first wrote up EP 4, because we also know that you originally didn't plan for anything past EP 4 at all. He's always been at Capcom levels of bad with his attempts to justify his stupidity with outright bs lol. I can see making a change to a series that makes it better but isn't exactly canon. Being able to say "You know, it isn't how I originally planned it but I think this works better." would be pretty enviable, actually. Lucas is the opposite. Just futher justifies keeping my original tapes on display in my room, they're seriously as good as it's going to get. It's pretty sad that my crappy VHS recordings of the 1997 version of the OT are better than the upcoming Blu-Ray version.
