I enjoyed Justice League #1, cool issue. "Dark Side? What is that? A band?", hilarious, metal as hell. It's fun to see the team come together, but it does make it feel like it'll take a while to really get the players in place. We gotta wait too long for Wonder Woman to show up, jeez. I'm on board, cool series.

Invincible and Savage Dragon delivered the goods as always of course too, my favs.

Looking forward to Batgirl next week, I'll also give Detective Comics a try, I did enjoy some of that writer's Batman run etc etc.

Finally reading Titans v1.

Tempest is awesome. There was a little note in the issue I just read that I could see more of him in the "current Aquaman", is that worth reading and what Aquaman volume is that?

Six issues in, I'm really enjoying this. I prefer when they have stories that only involve a few characters at a time, it seems more focused and enjoyable to me personally. Aside from Tempest, Donna Troy is also getting more appealing to me (I've always liked her, but never really CARED a lot about her, I'm starting to now), and so is Roy, who of course I've also always liked and cared about, but I only ever really got exposure to him during his Red Arrow days in the Justice League book, which I actually enjoyed for a while.

Yes Aquaman was pretty good then. I don't know who was on it right then, but that was the volume written by PAD, Larsen, and Jurgens respectively.

If it's a black/dark red costumed Flash, it was part of Mark Waid's run and you should read it and not be a bad person!

Indeed, it's on my to-read list. I did get through the first arc of Waid's run, and a little after that. Waid is awesome, so naturally I want to read his Flash run, but it's some of the only Wally West I have left, so once I finish it, I'll have no more Wally, which is why I'm trying to draw it out.

I think because I don't actually care for the whole Dick should be with Barbara shipping. I also don't think he belongs with Starfire because she's too tall for him. Jesse seems to be about the right fit.

Too bad she probably doesn't exist in the reboot now!

What's Gail Simone's opinion on it? My gut would tell me she's not a fan. And yeah, I'd agree. It would just be lame if they got together just because - hey, you're not paralyzed anymore! Cool!

But I just remembered; didn't Higgins recommend reading the Nightwing & Huntress mini in preparation for his run?

Someone on the CAGN board was talking about the new Punisher ongoing and how the art was fantastic, so I decided to check it out, as it's only 2 issues in anyway, and it's written by Rucka, so that's definitely worth checking out.

F*** yeah, Rucka! These two issues were awesome and I suddenly really like the Punisher, but I think I'm just gonna leave it with this. Even after two issues, Frank Castle hasn't said one word, basically being a silent protagonist, which I think fits him well. I've seen him in other comics talk a lot, and I just think this silence fits him SO much better. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe he's usually like that (and if so, I would like to know so I can read more of him in this style). But from what I've seen, he's never been this awesome before.

The Punisher is definitely the type of character I prefer to be more silent than wordy, and when he does talk, it should only be maybe a few words at a time.

I'm enjoying Rucka's Punisher, but literally my only exposure to Frank before this was when Molly Hayes kicked him in the balls so hard that he crumpled to the ground and couldn't move for a whole day in Whedon's Runaways.

I'm so happy that Vision made the list, but his placement below Cable and Psylocke just make me shake my head. I understand it. Vision's been a nobody for two decades, while Cable and Psylocke are two of the faces of the extreme '90s. Liefeld & Lee. Pouches and cheesecake. I've never understood the appeal for Cable, and Psylocke, alright, Psylocke's alright. I liked her when she first arrived at the Mansion, I liked her even more in the Outback, she was cool as a hot Asian chick adventuring with Wolverine and Jubilee, and she was cool in the nineties. I liked Warren & Betsy and the Crimson Dawn. She's definitely not one of my favorite X-Men, but I guess I have nothing against her presence.

Psylocke was my least favorite of the Silvestri/Outback Era X-men, but once she became an Asian ninja badass, she piqued my interest! Currently, she's probably the best she's ever been in Uncanny X-Force.

Sue Storm is cool. I think she's my least favorite of the FF, but that's really no fault over her own that's just how she's written! She's probably the most powerful of the group, and do so love that Wieringo Susan Storm, even if people complain she looked too young. To hell with those people, I say!

Cable...IDK. I mean I GET it, futuristic badass soldier dude, he looks like he's from Gears of War, with huge fricken weapons and all that. But he's always felt like a relic from the 90s, even in the GOOD books he was in during the 2000s(Cable and Deadpool, the criminally underrated Soldier-X, Joe Casey's Cable). When he died, I wasn't really sad like when my boy Nightcrawler bought it, it was just like, "...well, there ya go". Plus, he's getting brought back anyway in some soon-to-be-crappy Loeb series, so eh. He's still be awesome in MvC2, baby.

Also, Cable got TWELVE first place votes. He's twelve people's favorite Marvel character.
