Really though, I haven't read Snow Crash in 9 years, and while I didn't like it, I was an idiot at 16. You should check out some other Stephenson works, specifically Anathem. I still haven't read it -- 1000 pages of Stephenson is off-putting -- but every few months I almost buy it.
