Here's why Fluttershy > Twilight > Applejack >(>>) Pinkie Pie > Rainbow Dash imo: I couldn't find a decent sideview for all the dresses and I'm not about to scrounge the web looking for one either, so bear with me: Flutter's dress is just flawless from a design perspective. The cool green and blue of the dress compliment the warm yellow and pink of her fur and mane, blending harmoniously without clashing at all and even go as far as to also compliment her turquoise eyes. Also, the long, flowiness of the gown fits FS perfectly as evidenced by her manecut. And the emphasis on accessories shaped like her cutie mark is just the icing on the cupcake don't ya know? Twi's is easily the next best. What fits "sparkle" better than stars? Nothing I can immediately think of. So that was obviously the perfect choice! The cut of the dress is not as loose or flowy as FS's, which makes sense considering Twi's personality. The midnight blue of the dress almost matches with the violet of Twi's mane, creating a gorgeous blend of similar (but not equivalent) cool colors offset by sparks of white. It was a brilliant idea. AJ's is good, not great, but still good. Yes, it's incredibly simple, but realize so is AJ. She's the last pony that wouldn't be caught dead in a long, pretty, flowy dress (other than Rainbow Dash, more on that later). Function over form was obviously the thought Rarity had in mind while designing AJ's dress, and it works for her. It's simple, cute, and it appears AJ could still get some work done while wearing it without shredding it in the process. The cool green of the dress almost clashes with the warm orange of AJ's fur, yet actually blends quite well together. The cute stylized Cowpony hat and apple-shaped brooch with dangly ties are the piez de resistances! Also I love AJ's braided mane. Now Pinkie's dress is when enter "average" territory. I love the effort, but the concept was flawed from the beginning. Do you think a pony as energetic and hyper as Pinkie is going to be comfortable in a big, poofy dress weighted down with candy and other decor? No. Yes, it goes perfectly with Pinkie's big personality, but I could see her ruining that thing in a matter of minutes. And what's with the big, white collar? Have we not seen Pinkie dive head-first into cupcakes, chocolate, and other colorful things that would be sure to ruin a white collar belonging to a pony so hellbent on having the best time that she wouldn't care about stains? Bad idea! And perhaps most unforgivable of all, the hat doesn't match the dress. Now Rainbow Dash... oh my. A Grecian theme? I don't even know where Rarity was going with this. First of all, Rainbow's "dress" looks more like a thick robe. This is a nono for a nimble air athlete intent on showing her stuff to the Wonderbolts. That over-abundant, thick-looking material is going to create drag and slow her down, perhaps even cause her to mess up. The cloud trim was a cute idea, but realistically, RD's dress should've been about half that size. She's every bit as athletic as AJ, so why is the latter the only exception? The grape brooch is... I don't understand it. Pinkie's more into hedonism than Rainbow! It doesn't go at all with her, nor does the wreath maneclip imho. The Grecian sandals, however, are quite adorable. Taking the entire ensemble into account, I can fully understand why it wasn't quite cool enough for Rainbow. That is all. Pinky Pie predicted the falling frog by her twitching tail. AND THEN TWILIGHT FELL! Haha Magical pinky tail. Pinky: “My shoulder is achy, that means that there is an alligator in the tub” Twilight has to figure out why all of Pinkys random twitches mean anything or not. She now is following pinky in her natural habitat. Itchy nose apparently means swarm of bees XD XD A bunch of random stuff fell on twilight sparkle. Now a giant shiver went through pinky which apparently means something terrible is going to happen to fluttershy. Uh oh. What if she exploded? “What if she exploded and then exploded again?” GIANT HYDRA! Twilight got owned with her logic only argument. Twilight makes a giant jump and then fails but somehow makes it! The doozy was Twilight believing. Lol wut 7.5/10 Good episode. It was kind of a Pro God episode. As a Christian I like that. Its not obvious enough to be offensive to Agnostics and such, but its obvious enough to support the belief in God. I really liked it, I think this episode is the tipping point when the animation and stories start climbing to a whole 'nother level. One of the best of the series so far. “Yay” Rainbow Dash is trying to pull off a move called the Sonic Rainboom apparently. Yay So apparently Rainbow Dash has attempted the Sonic Rainboom 100 times and hasn’t pulled it off. Twilight Sparkle is trying to pull off a spell to turn everyone into flying ponies so they can support Rainbow Dash. ITS THAT GUY! Rainbow Dash is freaking out about doing the move, when everyone shows up. Rarity’s wings are pretty sweet. Sweet The weather Factory is kind of awesome. Rarity’s wings are putting snowflakes everywhere. Pinky then proceeds to “Taste the Rainbow” lawl. It doesn’t taste good. There’s a ton of screenshots I would like to take but it takes too long to take more than a couple. Just watch the episode again. Rarity decides to enter the best young fliers competition. That’s pretty D-baggy if you ask me. Princess Celestia shows up. I think that her bodyguards are the least emotional ponies of any in the entire show. Rainbow Dash keeps switching numbers to postpone going. This picture sums up what happens next pretty well. Rainbow Dash dancing with Rarity sends a giant Cloud at princess Celestia. And Then Rarity’s wings evaporate! RAINBOW DASH SAVES HER WITH A SONIC RAINBOOM! “I did it!
