The highlight this week is definitely Renegade Ops, it was made by Avalanche, the guys who made Just Cause 2. That doesn't excite me personally, but a lot of other stuff does. First off, it's a twin stick shooter, but from the gameplay videos, that action looks really crisp and fast paced. Secondly, there are some open world elements, third, SKILL TREEZ. Brad Shoemaker was loving it, the quick look is worth a look. This also ends the PSN play promotion, so you can get some stuff for getting it on PSN, and if you still have PSN+, a discount.

Radiant Silvergun is a critically acclaimed from the saturn, making its way to XBLA. Treasure is having a busy few weeks on XBLA with this and Guardian Heroes. If you are into shmups, this is probably one you willw ant.

So, Renegade Ops is not on XBLA right now. Microsoft's usual policy with this stuff is that if it doesn't show up on the Xbox Day 1, it won't be on the Xbox at all, so I dunno if it is even coming to XBLA anymore. I had always seen Renegade Ops listed as a multiplat game, so it's pretty weird. Side note, the download is HUGE. both renegade and radiant are downloading for me still.

Renegade Ops is friggin awesome. Anyone with a PS3 try it out.

I don't think the actual shooting is quite as good as Gatling Gears, but that might be because I vastly prefer the xbox joysticks. but it does everything really well. Easy buy for me
