Board 8 > Suggestions for drinks that represent NFL cities

So my boss, since I have nothing better to do, has tasked me with coming up with drinks (pretty much just beer) that we can put on special on Monday nights, depending on which two teams are playing on Monday Night Football.

For example, tonight was New England vs. Miami, so we had specials on Sam Adams and Landshark. Some of the teams are easy, like St. Louis, Denver, Green Bay, New England, Chicago et cetera, but I'm drawing a complete blank for some other teams.

BTW, it's a college bar. You should take that into consideration when suggesting.

And here's what I have assigned so far:

New England - Sam Adams
Miami - Landshark (not brewed in Miami but who gives a ****)
St. Louis - Budweiser
Chicago - Old Style
Philly - Yuengling
Green Bay - Miller Lite or Milwaukee's Best
New Orleans - Hurricanes
Denver - Coors

Another one I'm considering is Colt 45 for the Colts. I originally thought of it for Baltimore, but then I realized heroin would probably be better.

Also thinking something like Steel Reserve for Pittsburgh, but it's terrible (then again, so is Pittsburgh) and I don't think it's actually from Pittsburgh so meh.

Cleveland - Great Lakes Oktoberfest (seasonal) or Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold (year-round)
Denver - Blue Moon (better than Coors)

Shiner, Texas is closer to Houston than Dallas. If you can find St Arnold, that is based in Houston, and Shiner would be fine for Dallas. It's a Texas beer in general.

Also if you want a beer for Louisiana, Abita is from there and their Purple Haze is pretty goddamned amazing.

Flying Dog is in Maryland, but not near Baltimore or DC.

Bay Area has Lagunitas, Anchor, Bear Republic. Anchor is in San Fran. Bear Republic is a good match for Oakland

The best upstate New York brewery is Southern Tier, and it's due south of Buffalo.

NYC/NJ has Brooklyn Brewery and that's it.

atl has a few local beers. Sweetwater being the biggest one. Id choose that for ATL.

Anyone whose been to pittsburgh would tell you its between lucy lager and iron city light. Lucy lager died out sometime in the 80s, and so the official beer of the steelers is undoubtedly iron city light.

Try it sometime.

no, you need to use pbr for either Tampa or Arizona

because those areas have the sluttiest college girls

i think they're the only team hosting two as well

didn't they get all of their games blacked out last year? maybe the nfl is trying to stimulate the market or something but i think they're just gonna end up with two nationally televised games with an empty stadium
