According to lupinko there are more than 50 characters in this game, with that many characters nobody can be a "waste" of a spot

Rolento deserves his spot in SFxT. He's one of the most popular Alpha and Final Fight characters, has a unique moveset and Ono wanted him since vanilla SF4.

If you don't don't like him, that's fine but he's not a wasted slot.
