Well, he is good at melee, but yes, defense is definitely his best quality. He's a serious tank.

I'm sure he wouldn't be that careful, but I don't think Haku's strength feats are sufficiently impressive to convince me that he can damage Rakan with his attacks. Rakan resists lightning-speed punches without any damage; it's not until his own power is turned on him and combined with Negi's best punch that Rakan actually takes crippling damage. He can also supplement his defenses temporarily with Willpower Armor, and permanently with that super power armor.

^ I think Haku would be able to do damage on Rakan between Hakumen's weapon + speed and power.

I mean with a casual / no effort slash he cut through layers / multipe giant blast doors.

Now add this sort of force with him actual trying with his lightning speed movement as shown with his drive, and thats with only 20% power.

yeah I think he could mess Rakan up damage wise.

You're just saying that instinctively. I haven't actually posted anything specific about Rakan's defense (because I don't remember it), so you can't justify your comments.

The attack that Negi used to severely damage Rakan broke through a barrier able to withstand canonfire from a warship. Rakan still got up from it and was able to fight for a bit. Prior to being this by this, Negi was punching Rakan several times while moving at Mach 441. Also as mentioned earlier, Negi has a spell capable to blowing up a large chunk of a 100m rock and this spell was not considered powerful enough to severely harm Rakan.

Rakan is also highly skilled at figuring out techniques and their weaknesses. He was able to copy a barrier ignoring sword technique after just seeing it once and was able to figure out how Negi's lightning speed movement was being telegraphed by the electrical charge in the atmosphere.

It terms of regen, Rakan can use his ability to create armor to replace his arms and legs if they are cut off or disabled. Would Hakumen's anti-regen be able to block something like this?

mmk so Warship cannonfire severely damages Rakan (comparison) to near KO

Haku's counter moves basically go like this. (gameplay wise) Ring comes up. You hit him / it he counters you with lightning speed teleport slash (going by boss mode haku who is still 20% power) If Rakan's got range Haku merely has to hit the range move and it creates a space time vaccum thing which basically blocks anything (can be used as a shield in a sense) or if Rakan decided to run up to it would do damage to Rakan. The Time shenanigan thing I mentioned is a bit of a stretch. In story mode Haku shows that he can cut through space / time / dimensions with a technique of his (again while weak) and his Akumetsu technique seems to stop time (the whole black / white effect and he slashes a lot)

as for the armor thing it would depend on the nature of it I guess. I would guess dark magic or certain magic armor would be effected though I am not sure.

Also Tsubaki loop was kind of a joke for a partial bump although it is a powerful move

(basically its a "your ****ed" combo in CS where if Haku goes infinity and constantly does dash Tsubaki your stuck in it and it one combos you)

plus his achievements have names like "Your Already Dead" etc so yeah XD

Rakan's ability lets him create weapons and armors out of nothing. For the replacing limbs thing he just creates an arm shaped armor and sticks it where his arm used to be and he can move the arm shaped armor just as he could move his old arm.
