alright so

the new anime opening was pretty cool. Gives you a good feeling of what the entire Loto saga is all about.

when you get to the title screen it plays a new version of the original DQ theme. You can click on a sword/shield or a treasure chest. The sword/shield takes you to all 5 games and you can just play them.

The treasure chest takes you to the goodies section. Each of the 5 games has their own section where you can view the original packaging and maps along with some character art and developer notes. I was actually quite surprised that the Dragon Quest III section included the american box art of Dragon Warrior III yet no other game includes anything american. Also some of the developer notes were pretty cool like some rough sketches of monster and they're compared to what their final design looked like

then there's the DQX trailer which is a combination of the trailer shown at the DQX event a week ago with about 2 minutes of gameplay injected into the middle of it. Looking fannntastic

That opening made me wish they would remake 1/2/3 with the X engine. So beautiful...

Don't give Yuji Horii any ideas

he'll remake 1-6 all over again with that engine before he gets to DQ11
