They're all fantastic characters, which is one of the reasons why Yu Yu Hakusho is the greatest anime ever.

Not really, Kuwabara is easily the manliest of the bunch, and you can't deny that after his speech and willing sacrifice in the Dark Tournament. He's damn awesome and I can't fault anyone for favoring him.

Wrong, it's very negotiable. Truth is, all four of them are so damn great that any ranking is correct. I personally like Hiei and Yusuke the most because they're so strong and badass, but the other two have their share of badass moments as well, and Kurama is unique in how much of a strategist he is, and Kuwabara is just so manly.

To be totally fair to him, my biggest complaint is his voice.

But then my second biggest complaint is that I remember him being one of those all-brawn, no-brains characters. I could be remembering wrong though; it's been forever.

They're all great characters, but Kuwabara was always the most entertaining to watch. He's a great comic relief, had the best personality, and you just couldn't predict what was going to happen with him. If you look at all of the fights Yusuke, Kurama, and Hiei had they lost very few of them. You pretty much always knew they were going to come out on top, which got a bit old at times. You never knew whether Kuwabara was going to pull off an amazing win or..well..get teleported out of the arena.

No, that's about right. He did have brains at time, but he usually rushed in without thinking. He's still manly as hell.

He's not really really dumb. He does have some intelligence and he does have his purposes, it's just that he's so out shined by the other three that by comparison he just seems like an idiot. Well he is, but like I said, he does have SOME intelligence, and he uses it every once in a while.

Yeah I definitely think all four of them are great to make any ranking legit.

My personal would probably be Yusuke > Kurama > Kuwabara > Hiei though.

He's THE BEST.

I guess I just personally like him the most because I'm always fond of the jerk characters, and his speed and swordsmanship are the types of abilities that appeal to me the most. I also REALLY love how much he grows throughout the series.

They all grow so much, but the show does a great job of not making them seem invulnerable at the same time. Just such a great show resulting in 4 great characters.

I have Kurama and Kuwabara tied for my favorites, but I still cheer inside when I watch Hiei kick ass, so it doesn't mean that much.
