Board 8 > ATTN : Star Wars Fan. A question regarding SWTOR. *spoilers*

So apparently in the game you kill HK47 and Darth Revan in a midlevel dungeon and it seems to make a ton of people really angry. So uh, why? I know nothing about star wars so the only thing I can guess is that Revan is a bad guy because of that Darth prefix but otherwise nothing, I watched the sequel movies a long time ago and I don't remember his name being brought in a single time, but it has been a while so I could be wrong.

So.. any explanation?

The main character has amnesia and finds out that he is Darth Revan. KH47 is one of your party members in that game. This would be the equivalent of killing Cloud in a mid-level dungeon in the next Final Fantasy game.

KOTOR2 showed there are a ton of Hk series around and there is also a Revan cult in TOR apparently

its probably just some Revan fanatic with an HK series with a paintjob.

Darth Revan is the Protagonist of the first KOTOR game, and is responsible for pretty much everything in the Old Republic games. HK-47 is a party member from KOTOR 1 & 2, with loads of fan, thanks to his speech mannerism and personality.

Wow, that is so unusual for Revan and HK-47 to have a small role like that, and die so (I assume) early-ish in the game.

Apparently HK-47 is rebuilt later on (that's what I got from reading the forum of the website) but Revan is dead.

Only in the Sith storyline though, you don't fight him as a good guy.
