And today an old woman asked me where the ketchup was. I took her to the ketchup and she grabbed the small bottle for around $1.50. I noticed that the larger bottle was on sale for a dollar and I mentioned this to the woman. Her response?
She said "Why would I ever need that much ketchup?!" before storming off.
The only reason I could understand someone saying this was if they were planning on dying soon. It's not like ketchup goes bad and you're paying less money for more ketchup!
Maybe... maybe she's addicted to ketchup and trying to break the habit?

On a serious note. People I used to work at a grocery store with would laugh at me because I'd buy 2 liters when I went on break. However a 2 liter of Pepsi was $1 on sale, while the 20 oz. never went on sale and was $1.39 at the time. I tried to explain that to people but they wouldn't hear it.

Yeah a lot of people do that at my store. They wrap the receipt around it and keep it in the fridge until later.
Some of the customers at my store are reaaaally dumb though. I overheard two girls talking in the cookie aisle once and one of them was complaining that with all of the Oreo varieties, they never made any Oreos without the cream in the middle. I lowered my head and kept walking
