when you live on campus, you don't even care

when you commute, it is absurdly terrible since you wasted all your time coming. Especially if it was your only class.

this seems like something that I'd have gone absolutely mad over.

also I usually don't care when this (what FFD said) happens because then I can just work on some homework or mess around on the internet for a while.

Maybe it had something to do with going to school at a university that could comfortably fit on two city blocks, but I was never bothered by cancelled classes. I can see where the frustration comes in if you had to hike half a mile, catch two busses, and march through snow only to find your only class of the day was canned however.

I hate when classes get cancelled but that's only because it's about a 25 minute drive to school and then finding parking is a total nightmare. It's not as bad a commute as some people have, but it's certainly not a great one.

Well I was running late because I like usual waited until the last minute to finish a report, sped there on back roads to avoid traffic to be on time, and then found out it was cancelled and the paper is due on Thursday instead.

The good outweighed the bad this time tbqh.
