So uh.. for giant magichange so I can Big Bang 9-4, do I need to level up the monsters or just the humanoid?
Eh, the human's the most important, then the fist monsters. The way it works, when you fusion two monsters, a portion of the extra monster's base stats is added to the giant monster's. Then, when you magichange the giant monster, a portion of the giant monster's base stats become the stats of your first slot (ie your weapon). This weapon can never be weaker than the one you have equipped currently, but it can indeed go waaaay above.
This is also why dual giant magichange is amazing: you are, in essence, wearing two offensive items (second magichange replaces second slot) and can attack with skills twice. You're often more than doubling your damage this way.
Once you get Desco to level 1000, magichange her into someone and have them kill one enemy with her to unlock the fusion lab bill.
Also what's the best way to get Big Bang on an Android? I think they can't learn it themselves.
Reincarnate them to tier 4 bouncer, grind a little, buy skill, reincarnate back to android. That's how it works for pretty much any class you want to have Big Bang. Other classes can use the skill, but only Bouncer learns it easily.
The only other way iirc is to get it with chara world shenanigans, and screw that imho >_>

I haven't even attempted him yet, lulz. I know the level of one of the last unlockable characters is 4000, so I figure I'll try to get close to that before unlocking everyone!
Except Harvest Moon is now devouring my soul so eh. This might take a while.

He's level 1000, his stats are alright (30k atk. 480k HP) but he dual magichange dragons and his attack gets to 120k and his HP to 680k. He can hit for like 600k with his skills and they have an AoE.
What a pain.

That's what I thought it was at first too when I read it, but I unlocked it on O4 right when my Desco hit 1000 by using Martial Transformer on one of the two other dudes.
I haven't gone above level 400~ in the item world, so I have no idea how I'd fight a level 1000+ enemy, let alone one with giant magichange. >__>

>.> 5-2, max enemy level, stack 5 enemies, whack them with a decent attack from Giant Magichanged Desco with Val. Not that hard. Did it with both around 350.

There's always hope for better things in life. But you can't let anything, friend, lover, God himself, be your hope. You have to be your own hope.
Nah, the only thing you lose by reincarnation is your current level (added to stored levels) and a percentage of skill use (5% at genius). You're meant to reincarnate a ton of times if you want to get a character to maxed out aptitudes.

Yeah, 9-4's pretty insane at max enemy rank, but O4 is just all kinds of hax.
By the way, guys, every time you reincarnate a story character, they get +5 to all their aptitudes, up to 5 times. Even if you reincarnate at level 1, you still get the bonus! Put them in a mana pyramid so they can reincarnate at Genius though.
My Desco became a god of destruction thanks to the extra aptitudes.

My Android is getting pretty badass, she got like 130-140% aptitudes all around and she destroys pretty much everything ever. Can destroy O4 Rank 10 at level 1 now, woohoo!
