After being "on the road" for a while, People want to go into a place with nice music, chat with some NPCs, rest at the inn, buy some armor/weapons, stock up on X-Potions. That is what Final Fantasy is all about. FFXIII lacked that experience so if FFXIII-2 fixes this, great. I didn't really miss the point entirely. Clock Town isn't that much different from your average town except for the fact that the NPCs are sometimes in different places in order to trigger certain events. Characters and story were a little below 13, but I'm a big fan of non linearity, sidequests, all kinds of fun stuff to do while playing the game, and 12 really delivered there.
