I have to be ultra picky when it comes to picking up DC titles.

I already buy so many Marvel ones that I just can't afford to get too many more.

The number ones I reserved were JL, Action, Batman, Flash, and recently I made a deal with the guy at the comic store to get GL if he gets TMNT.

I'll add Red Hood for now and probably Animal Man too.

Not sure yet though.

Green Lantern is not new reader friendly.

I love it, but if you haven't already read the other 78 issues I would not recommend it at all.

The other 3 I was talking about are Batman, Frankenstein, and Demon Knights, BTW.

Oh and Wonder Woman too, I suppose.

The comics topic is currently 5 to 2 in favor of.

I personally enjoyed it DESPITE the fanservice, on its own merits.

Saying others liked it in no way pressures him to like it. This isn't passing a smoke to a 6th grader in junior high. We're all adults here. Hell, he's a teacher!
