All of Brian's arguments are assuming he can somehow defeat Twilight in a single hit. Twilight is a cartoon character that has shown looney tunes style durability (in one episode she survives having an anvil dropped on her head from a substantial height).

There is no way Brian is going to be able to stop her with a single hit, and one hit is all he's going to have before Twilight yanks his gun away with telekinesis and transforms him into a teapot.

Twilight Sparkle wins easily.

There have been several instances of her doing spells instantly. Unless it's something extremely difficult, she's pretty inconsistent on her cast times, but she's never needed "casting time" for things like basic telekinesis.

That's not idealism! That's literally me criticizing people for not reading the damn writeups. I've given up any idealistic notions I had about MPFC voters, this contest in general and MPFC in general; I'm just trying to squeeze personal enjoyment out of it by this point.

By this arguments statement, no cartoon character can ever lose because they're not able to die!

Welcome to Toonforce. This is in fact the argument you can make for Bugs Bunny for instance: he no-sells truly ridiculous stuff. Same as why Popeye is a brutal bruiser. In general you need very finicky hax or reality warping to put down a true toonforce.

I've stepped in here and there, sure, but it's usually been limited to correcting people or asking questions, not actual arguing. I felt weird doing it as the host, but even in other MPFCs I never bothered.

And I'm well aware you're joking! I'm just trying to - AGAIN - set the record straight. That's my lot in life, it seems !!

Hmm...if you see it that way I can understand that. I was specifically thinking of Dumbledore/Jaina in, I think, your last MPFC (AKA the infamous "Dumbledore uses Avada Kedavra" match), but if you think that falls under either of those categories that makes sense.

Given that she's in a 1 vs 1 fight, Twilight would probably be smart enough to yank away the first thing her opponent brandishes, which she could do easily (something as small as a gun is nothing compared to a giant space bear). The only reason I say "probably" is because the things she's fought before haven't really used weapons, but given that one of her friends uses a lasso on a regular basis, the concept of "weapons" isn't lost on her.

The third is Twilight's powers going haywire and superpowerful in "The Cutie Mark Chronicles", where she turns Spike from egg to huge dragon, her parents into stone, and does some other wacky, insane things before Celestia calms her. Now, this is obviously a latent power that COULD be delved into, but it's not really possible in this scenario. This only happened to Twilight during a time of high stress, while subsequently exposed to the Sonic Rainboom. While stress, if the battle were prolonged, would be possible, the Sonic Rainboom is not happening in this fight, period. Not to mention I don't think this fight would be prolonged. More on that in a second.

Admittedly, I said stone, not cactus/ficus, but you get the drift.

If Twilight was still like 10 years old, then sure. But like I said, that was BEFORE she studied under Celestia. For YEARS. Assuming she still lacks control over her powers at this point is stupid.

If Twilight does have some toonforce protections (shown via the whole anvil to the head feat) and since toon force does also normally apply when some thing would be funny like oh say a human seeing her for the first time then instantly going bang bang kill you with a gun shot to the head. Wouldn't that pretty much trigger a comical backfiring like oh say the bullet firing through her hair or hitting her horn which would then pretty much cause her to yank the gun from out of Bryan's hand with telekinesis.

I am going to have to go with Twilight sparkle here pretty much solely due to the reasons of her having toonforce protection which would make her insanely tanky as shown by taking an anvil to the head then I really don't see how Bryan could possibly kill her it's not like he has a ready supply of Judge Doom's DIP from who framed Roger Rabbit that was made just to kill toons.

It's one thing to have control over basic magic, it's another to have control over what is supposedly the most powerful magic Equestria has seen in X years.

I'm just saying, there's no evidence of her being able to cactus people non-accidentally. She's never transformed anybody else.

Cartoon =/= follows toonforce. This is the same immovable object vs. irresistible force deal we discussed with the Doctor. When the more cynical universe clashes with the toonforcey one it dilutes the toonishness. Twilight Sparkle would certainly die to having her brains blown out. Consider the fact that Toonforce operates on rule of funny. Bryan Mills isn't funny. Thus Toonforce doesn't work on him.
