The average fan has no idea what the names of the various Colossi are.

You'd be better off going with Wander/Dormin if you want a rivalry from SOTC.

1. They don't need to know their names, only need to know what the look like and Valus is definitely the most recognizable thing in that game.
2. I would have put Dormin in there, but he's incorporeal, no pics of him, doesn't work...

Plus even if you do like SotC, do you really want to just see Wander get god stomped again? He didn't break 10% in the 4 way matches and got doubled by Captain Falcon of all characters.

The game itself does fine (There's no way it should beat any MGS ever). It's just wander that's full of unpopular fail.

True, but SotC is also better than most Metal Gear games.

I'd say MGS1 and possibly MGS3 is better than it though.

Anyway as great as the game is, there aren't any rivalries in it really. The colossi are just minding their own business when Wander shows up to kill them all for selfish reasons.
