Since I'm in a horror mood, here are the options from what I have:
Robert McCammon - Usher's Passing Robert McCammon - Mine Dan Simmons - Fires of Eden Dan Simmons - Children of the Night Dan Simmons - A Winter Haunting Dan Simmons - Black Hills Dan Simmons - Drood Peter Straub - Floating Dragon Stephen King - The Shining(reread) Stephen King - The Gunslinger(Reread and not really horror)
Suggestions are welcome too!
I'm always on the lookout for new good horror authors - I haven't read Straub other than getting bored with Ghost Story, and I read Bentley Little and disliked him. If you can recommend a horror author I haven't read that I will like, I will be in your debt.

I actually went off the list a bit, because I forgot I'd been putting off Heart Shaped Box. Slammed that out in a couple days(incredible book btw, Hill is an amazing new author), and I'm knocking The Shining off the list with the sequel coming.
For now I'm thinking of reading Drood.
