Steiner is awesome

Dagger has some good moments and some bad ones. she's iffy.

Vivi is okay

Zidane is the man. best FF lead by a good margin.

Freya is okay

rest of the cast LOL

Quina may be annoying to some, but it's not a bad character per se... It has a simple story and it does its thing.

Amarant sucks though. Bleh.

Steiner is awesome. He's like a caricature and I love him for it. I can't take anything he does seriously because he does it so over the top. I can't help but laugh at him even when he's doing something stupid.

yeah same. I had Eiko in there at the end, but her low HP annoyed the hell out of me at times.

FFIX's cast is split pretty much down the middle for me.

Zidane/Dagger/Vivi/Steiner are great.

Freya/Amarant/Quina/Eiko not so much. Freya's mostly because the game pretended she didn't exist after Cleyra and then forced her to pal around with Amarant for Disc 3. Eiko's just terrible, one of the worst playable characters in the series.

But there's lots of stuff in Madain Sari and the Iifa Tree that have thankfully little to do with Eiko and her insistence on marrying Zidane.

Let's see, the Iifa Tree itself is pretty bleh. The dwarves are okay. Amarant's part sucks because of Amarant.

Conde Petie was a pretty cool place. Black Mage Village was great. I like Iifa Tree for the big showdown at the end between Kuja and Brahne. Madain Sari is a good place, too, and lots of stuff happens without Eiko.

I don't mind Amarant. He's just sort of there. He's better than Lani though.

I'm trying to remember, I thought going to Black Mage Village happened before the Eiko part, but maybe it's just been too long.

Either way... if you want to stretch out the "Eiko part" to take up more and more non-Eiko stuff then we're not talking about the same thing. Like I said.

Vivi > Zidane > Quina > Steiner > Garnet > Freya > Amarant >>> Eiko

Just because I've been randomly thinking about this today. All great in their own way except for Eiko.

I don't know what is wrong with a few of you, but Quina is absolutely awesome.

Quina is the worst. Worse than Steiner even.
