Probably wrong, and I don't particularly care who wins in the AL, and if Arizona gets eliminated, I won't care at all. As far as World series match-ups go, I want to see D-backs vs Rays the most, with D-backs vs Yankees at a close second. Upton vs Upton, and then a 10 year later rematch would be pretty cool too.

I would love to see a dbacks v rays WS.

Ehh, not really, most statistics point to the D-backs being a better team. Games aren't played on paper, but I watched every match up between the two this season where the Diamondbacks went 4-3 against, and probably should've went 6-1. Could've swept them at their place if it wasn't for a fluke HR by Casey Mcgehee off Joe Patterson, which also due in part of Gibson making a stupid managerial move by leaving Joe in there (left hander vs right hander). So, I honestly don't think their home field really means much.
Another loss was mainly due to our Arizona's players not being able to score a run in the bottom of the ninth with a runner on 3rd with no outs, and the Brewers had 5 infielders, all they had to do was hit it into right field and they would have won that one too.

The only win they got off the Diamondbacks that was a concrete win was off of Barry Enright, who gave up like 80 HR's and is no longer on the team, but hey they did win those other 2 games, so kudos to them.
While all the D-backs wins were pretty solid wins, comeback down 6-1, which is something they proved they could do to any team(they came back and won a major league best 49 times), shutout their 'dreaded' offense twice(both in a hitter friendly ballpark), and the other win was a 7-3 victory.

Now here we are in October, where the playoffs begin. Arizona no longer has a blackhole of suck at 1B. With Paul Goldschmidt at the position, who pretty much owns any elite pitcher he has faced so far(Homered off Lincecum twice, Cliff Lee, that one guy from the Nationals who was their All-Star), and gets big hit after big hit. While the Brewers are pretty much the same team.

Advantage: Arizona

But, it's the playoffs and anything can happen. I just do not understand the hype behind the Brewers. Maybe people just want them to succeed because they have sucked for so long.

The hype is about they are a offensive juggernaut with Fielder and Braun and others. plus I am really liking their pitching with Grienke,Gallardo and I have always kinda liked Randy Wolf

but I dont really know the NL to well tbh. My team is the M's so I watched mostly AL most of the season

also I agree with you that home field advantage really doesn't mean to much.

That' the problem, those are the only two guys that can really kill you, and Fielder only went 5-27(.185) against Arizona, including not getting a single hit @ Arizona.
Gallardo is really the only pitcher they have that has statistically owned Arizona. They've hit enough off Grienke to get victory's, and they own Randy Wolf.

But, like I said it is the playoffs and anything can happen.

If Arizona wins game one, I'll say that the series will be 100% over.

Phillies > Tigers in 5 (six if the Tigers can actually get Verlander out there twice in the first five games, but with both series going the full length for the Tigers I see him being used in Games 1 and 5 and then Games 3 and 7.)
