I knew going into it that it was less the 'grr grr parents dead brood brood everything is dark grrrrr" kind of batman and closer to the adam west style. Also knew that there would be other superheroes of a generally lesser known nature teaming up with him.
If the first episode is any indication though, it looks like it will be a fun show. As a fan of the DCAU, seeing batman not be the dark knight I know and love is a little odd, but easy enough to adjust to, as I did also grow up watching reruns of the old batman show. Hearing an animated batman not voiced by Kevin Conroy was equally weird.
The first episode was pretty fast paced leaping from one bit of action to the next. I got way more pleasure out of seeing those alien cell blobs getting kicked around than I probably should have. So weak XD. Got to see the Blue Beetle in action too, a hero I mostly know by name only.
So yeah...a fun superhero show.

Dont care about stretch guy. Dont care about dinosaurs much. But DAMN...gorillas riding dinosaurs? AWESOME. Also...dinosaurs lifting up a boat and carrying it? ALSO AWESOME. Still don't like stretchy guy, but they are using him well (<3 the facial expression upon seeing the dino)
Aaand backstory. Really, I am liking how this show is squeezing so much into it. Now plastic man is not quiiiite so one dimensional. 1.5D? 1.1D? Always liked Grodd as a villain for some reason, even back in the days when I was watching superfriends.
Aaand more backstory. Batman has a heart. How cute.
Ok...Plastic Man shape changing is kinda neat...lol. I saw the gatling monies coming a mile a way but burst out laughing at the expression. Could easily be a gif...
This show...the art takes some getting used to. It isn't bad, just...yeah. It works well enough though. The pacing and characters have made it quite enjoyable so far. <3

It's a shame it never really caught on and was cancelled. The DC Universe may be amazing with a ton of awesome comics (especially now with the reboot), but that doesn't make this more humorous take on it any less incredible.
The earlier video posted helped inform me as to aquaman's awesomeness, but yeah...he is awesome. Not quite as awesome but still neat: octopus in a whale.
Blah blah story and yesss nautical punnery. Fresh chum indeed.
This episode seemed to drag sliiiiightly more than the other two, but maybe that was just me. Maybe it was the whole assassination plot that gave it a serious bent to it. Maybe it was not enough aquaman story time. Either way, the show continues to be good clean wholesome fun.
