This is the coolest looking title this week imo, and I've had my eye on it for a while. It is another tower defense type game where you can also control the character, it looks well made, has a cool style, and looks like a lot of fun. I'm excited to try it out.
---------------- Payday: The Heist PSN $20
This is the biggest PS3 dlable release of the week. If you bought all the PSN play titles you get it for free (kind of like summer of arcade, not many I assume!). It's a co-op shooter where you do bank heists, you have to fight off guards, manage hostages, and complete other tasks all at the same time. It's supposed to be pretty good from what I've heard. I think there are also RPG ELEMENTZZ. I notice characters can level up anyway. I'm not sure how well it will sell though at $20.
-------------------- Eufloria PSN $10
An odd looking game, it's out for PC apparently, so maybe people have heard of it.
------------------ Crysis 1 PS3, Xbox 360 $20
Crysis 1 finally makes it to consoles. It will be in the games on demand section for XBLA. This is only the 1P, no multi in this.
----------------------- NBA Jam: On Fire Edition PSN, XBLA $15
I think this might essentially be the "2011" edition of last year's game, except in d/lable form instead, which could actually make this a decent value.
---------------------- Sega Bass Fishing XBLA, PSN $10
the strange dreamcast collection release which didn't feature very many essential dreamcast games now comes to XBLA and PSN individually. -------------------- Space Channel 5 Part 2 XBLA, PSN $10
Why couldn't they bring Shenmue 1 to XBLA instead : (
omfg free DLC. This is a mostly co-op campaign, and GlaDoS will be back. However, there will also be a challenge mode for single and co-op with leaderboard support, sounds interesting.
---------------------------- --DEAL OF THE WEEK--
Nothing announced yet, but I think the huge sale is still going on, which includes Outland at 400 MSP, get it!
what a big week!

Also, for Xbox Live Rewards members, if you spend 2800 MSP or more this month, you get 140 MSP back. Orcs Must Die will probably already set me back 1200 MSP, so I'm off to a good start >_>

A whole 140?
Mind blowing.
But seriously I expected more than that. Last year they did a reward like this and it was 400 for that amount or something like that.

Brawl is like ZSS' breasts. Well rounded for casual players. http://i52.tinypic.com/2llhfrc.jpg
just a few months ago they gave you 200 for buying 2 games of 800 or more, which was a better deal.
but really, I'm never going to complain about any XBL Rewards promotion. I'm just going to buy what I buy anyway, getting a bonus, even a small one, is always nice

tower defense that you can play obviously, a bit like trenched but very different gameplay mechanics. setting up the traps is fun, the shooting and magic aren't great, but for a tower defense game they are very passable. Basically it's a well made tower defense game, with the bonus of being able to play it, which makes it very fast paced. I like it a lot.
I really want a NBA Jam demo! I'll probably buy it eitherway eventually, but I might end up waiting till a sale without a demo.
