If you're still up for the movies too then the first one takes place after the Kuro arc.

There also is a OVA episode, which was actually the first thing they animated, that takes place between the Buggy Arc and the Kuro Arc.

Episode 15: Beat Kuro! Usopp the Man's Tearful Resolve!

Man this arc feels like it's gone on for almost a month now....! (welp)

And the kids come in and hit Kuro. These kids are hella dumbass

And Usopp trusts the kids to protect Kaya, which I don't see as a very smart move.

Meanwhile Zoro has his hands full with the fat bro, who I forget the name of. he can shatter mountains in any case.

One thing I haven't mentioned yet is the BGM. It's really good.

Also it only took 3 episodes, but I think Luffy's finally ready for some one on one with Kuro.

Usopp's determined as f*** but he can't get up because it hurts too much. So Luffy and Zoro have to take care of Kuro themselves. He gives a nice speech though.

Oh never mind, Zoro's taking Usopp down to face Jango so it's just Luffy again

Oh and Nami's out raiding the ship, so she's not around either. Did I mention that?

New moves:
-Gum Gum Spear
-Gum Gum Whip

Kuro gives a flashback of how he faked his death. He's certainly more developed than the other 2 villains I've seen so far were.

To end the episode Luffy breaks the katanas on one hand of Kuro's claw gloves. Speaking of which those gloves have to be heavy as balls, with entire swords just glued on to the ends.

You are't gonna watch the OVA episode? "One Piece - Defeat Him! The Pirate Ganzack" Although I'm not sure it has been dubbed. It's called One Piece: Taose! Kaizoku Ganzack in Japanese. It takes place between the Buggy Arc and Kuro Arc.
