I tried to stealth my way down the Monastery tower, but after the third guy, no matter how many times I restarted, jumping down to the fourth guy would always alarm everyone, even though there was no one to see me. I guess it was just programmed that way. Oh well. After about 20 restarts, I just accepted that was the case and shotgunned them all down.
I had the exact same experience with this part.

I just got to Shambhala and s*** went down and it took me like four tries to defeat those native crossbow guys. Those guys are ridiculous. Stupid RamBearPigs.

I'm sad that I'm getting near the end, I may have to hold off on playing the rest of the game for a while. Like a day. If I can handle that, I don't know.

Arkham City will still be GOTY for me, most likely. Sonic Generations will probably be a good contender too, but yeah, now there's no doubt that Uncharted 3 will be up there as well. I may not be able to get it until Christmas though, sad.

Last boss was a pain in the ass, but it was still kinda cool, and I only died twice. The ending was great. And the final conversation between Nate and Elena was funny.
I want Uncharted 3.

I don't think it lends itself to multi-part boss battles. UC2's final boss had a decent idea, but the execution of the boss itself was bad. Too much room for error, and if you mess up you have to do it all over again.
I think it's pretty bad considering it has nothing to do with what makes the game good. No climbing, no cover, none of that stuff. Just run and run and run and then shoot.
Running and shooting was fun a few times in the game, like when escaping the truck chasing you down the alley, and such. You can't really blame them for the last boss, it's not a game meant to have bosses, but they decided to include one for the end and it of course fell short. The atmosphere was still kinda cool, it was just a pain to beat him.
I did like the boss though. It was such a classic Naughty Dog boss, like Crash/Jak. It was cool to see some classic gameplay in a game that otherwise doesn't really resemble their old platformers.

Well, UC1 was all about using cover for its final boss, and for my money, it's the more obnoxious of the two. I think UC2's boss could have been better if it didn't go on for so long.
watching those videos it looks like punching has been toned down a lot from UC2, which makes me sad.

So I went to Subway and I didn't see a code on my cup, so I asked about it and of course the lady knew nothing of an Uncharted 3 promotion, and it wasn't advertised anywhere. So I thought maybe it's secret or something, and a quick google search tells me I was supposed to get a 30 oz drink? I only got 21, so... Bleh. I'm upset.
Can someone walk me through exactly what I'm supposed to do? I can just order the 30 oz drink and nothing else, right?

My girlfriend is playing through Uncharted 2 right now, on Very Easy of course, otherwise she would be dead 100 times by now. I... can't help but continuously facepalm when watching her.

Oh and good news! I have 55 dollars of Gamestop credit that I was going to use for Sonic Generations, but I've decided Uncharted 3 takes obvious priority. So I'll be able to buy it. I should be able to wait for Christmas to get Sonic Generations.
