Only watched the first video so far, but holy crap that is amazing. I never beat the first game because I SUCKED SO BAD at it, and I don't think I'd be much better at the sequel, so I haven't played that either. I watched it on youtube, and it's a great game, I wish I didn't suck so much at it. This third one is really looking, just, epic as f***.

I played the demo of the second game and sucked at it. So I imagine I would suck at the actual game too, but I do want to play it.

I have no idea, I'm not usually THAT bad at third person shooters, I actually prefer them to first person. For some reason I just can't get the hang of the controls and the enemies always get the better of me... That was mainly the first game though, it seems it might be a bit better in the second game, I'm not sure.

The enemies are bullet sponges in the first game. They take forever to kill unless you get a headshot.

They aren't too bad in the first game. You just have to aim for the upper half of the body. I think their evasive tactics are actually better in UC1. But yeah, the shooting and cover is more refined in UC2, so it's better.

Uncharted is very replayable, in my opinion. I've been through both of games over six times. What's hard to capture in video is how much fun it is to play. It's linear, but it has an addictive old school action game sort of quality to it. There are things like treasure that give you a 'purpose' to go through it again, but it's mostly because it's fun. Uncharted is rather simple, but that doesn't take away from it.

Uncharted is replayable in the same way that you can watch a great movie multiple times. It's very linear, but that isn't a bad thing at all in this case.

They do some references to Uncharted 1, but the stories have nothing to do with eachother, and I guess the relationship between Nathan and Elena might be confusing.

6 times? wtfff. only 1P games I've done that with are Turtles in Time and Halo: CE, but that was both because of co-op for the most part.

I'd say it's worth 2 playthroughs, one on hard, one on the hardest difficulty, then thats about it.

Well, if you know about those two, then nothing in Uncharted 2 should sound different or strange, or out of place. The two stories follow the same formula, go looking for treasure, run into some bad guys, and it goes on from there.

I'm trying to think of some references that are made, but I can only think of the "supernatural part of the story", which is kind of a spoiler. lol

It's essentially this for the first one*Spoilers*- I guess.


-Looking for treasure(The coffin of 'Sir Drake"(I think that was his name, I can't recall it))with Elena in the Ocean.
-Ditches Elena
-Continue looking for treasure with Sully
-Sully gets shot
-Nathan runs away
-Runs back into Elena
-Continue the search for treasure-plane crashes on island
-Bad guys are at the island too
-Sully appears to betrayed them
-He really didn't
-Enter supernatural element
-Right hand man, digs up the treasure, and betrays the suspected main bad guy
-Main bad guy dies
-Nathan chases after the other guy, and beats his ass down
-Nathan, Elena, and Sully go out in the sunset, with treasure and gold in hand.

Uncharted 2, like I said makes a reference to the first supernatural element. There are probably more, but I can't really remember them. Like I said, the stories really have nothing to with each other, but some of the dialogue(by Nathan)sometimes makes references to experiences he had in the first adventure.

Thanks for filling me in a bit. Maybe I'll still watch it on youtube... although I don't think I have time. Amazon says that my game is already out for delivery here, so it should be at my house in a little while if it isn't already. Once I get home, we'll see. I'll probably be playing it tonight.

Chapter 18 now.

I can't stop playing. It's SO AWESOME. I'm sooooo much better at shooting in this game, it's really great and fun. I've died quite a few times, but it's NEVER been frustrating, like it was in the first game.

And even though I didn't get killed, f*** that stupid RamBearPig thing.

I tried to stealth my way down the Monastery tower, but after the third guy, no matter how many times I restarted, jumping down to the fourth guy would always alarm everyone, even though there was no one to see me. I guess it was just programmed that way. Oh well. After about 20 restarts, I just accepted that was the case and shotgunned them all down.

I got quite a bit farther until I quit for the night. Now I'm up and I want to continue playing, but at the same time I don't, because I wanna save some of it for later. I don't wanna finish it so soon.
