I've been hyped for this game ever since the first trailers and the gameplay of the first level and the epic music.
I played through the first... 3 or 4 levels? I got to fly jets, be a chopper gunner, and fly the chopper.
The jets are awesome... it feels like how I remember AC to be, though I'm not extremely familiar with the series. The DFM is great imo... it allows the game to take you through really crazy paths, weaving through buildings and near-missing a lot of stuff, it's really awesome. There's also a really good level of difficulty and strategy involved. It's somewhat automated, but you still feel in control where it matters.
The gunner was actually pretty cool... it's an on-rails shooter, but it was entertaining still. The visuals and sound are well-done, so you're never confused about what you're shooting/where you're being shot from.
The actual chopper is probably the worst. You go around and auto-lock on stuff and just shoot at them. It's all about movement and position, which is fine, but not very interesting.
The story is literally Modern Warfare, but with actual characters, so it's kinda interesting so far. Music is great, lots of choices for jets. Overall the presentation is really well done. The first level is still the most epic of all that I have played.
