The more I think about it, the less I like taking the Raiders. When Palmer comes back in, they might be a team I want to have available...might...but they're likely to struggle this coming week even if the oddsmakers give them a larger spread than all but Green Bay, New Orleans and the opponent of the Rams. Instead, I'm going to pick against another team possibly having quarterback issues. I have a distinct feeling I'll have egg on my face when the Raiders win and my new choice loses, but if it happens, it happens. Newton sounds like he's either going to force some really bad passes next week or have one hell of a game.
So we officially have half of the survivors taking Cowboys this week. Seeing as I'm from Philly, I would have been wishing ill on the Cowboys anyway, but this might just give me something to watch during the bye.
