1 and 2 are interchangeable depending on what you wana do, since both are pretty much the bees knees.

3 should be a Final Fight or God Hand though

Never been a huge fan of Turtles in Time. I mean it's good but top 3 I'm not so sure.

I'd probably go

1. Double Dragon 2
2. Final Fight
3. Maximum Carnage

Or something.

Any list that misses SoRR as No. 1 is bad. Period. It's like six different beat 'em ups in one and all of them are amazing. Anyone who hasn't played it yet should do so. There is literally no better beat 'em up out there.

Turtles in Time is great music and levelwise, but its controls are total ass. Seriously, play Hyperstone Heist and come back to Turtles in Time, there's just no comparison between the smoothness of the former and how clunky the latter is. That it's still awesome is a testament to how good everything else was, but in a genre that NEEDS good controls Turtles in Time just can't take a top spot.

Now, for a list...assuming that SoRR covers the whole SoR series...

1) SoRR.
2) Guardian Heroes.
3) Cadillacs and Dinosaurs.

Honorary mentions/ties with C&D: Simpsons Arcade Game, Scott Pilgrim, Dungeonfighter Online, all worthy of a Top 3 spot in their own way.

Are you talking about the arcade version? I think the controls in the arcade are not great as well, but the SNES version feels better to me. It's why I specified the SNES version!

No, I was actually talking about the SNES version! My complaints on it are mostly centered on how finicky jump-attacking is and, most importantly, how *terrible* the manual dash controls are. You have to hammer the pad really hard get your dash on, which is necessary to win.

Simpsons arcade could have been amazing had it been released circa 94-95. But it came out in 91, so the gags in there are limited to what, season 1-season 2? Really disappointing. So they should make a new one, with Hank Scorpio. And Crazy Cat Lady and "Yeeeeeees?" guy.

Yeah, SoRR got a C&D within like a week of their "full" release. There was some talk that they had been in contact with SEGA to try and work something out but nothing ever came of it.

But yeah it's definitely easy enough to find if you look.
