Sometimes, when I move a character's name near the bottom of a picture's border, the lettering will distort. I have no idea why, but it's pretty annoying and makes for an unsightly look. Does this happen to anyone else? Any way to fix it?
I'm using Photoshop CS3.

Focus on Jill's name. The top pic is the way I want her name to look, but I'd like to move it down. The name is moved down in the bottom pic, but as you can see, it's now distorted. Look at the letter "J" specifically. It looks kinda funky now, and all I did was move the layer down a bit by adjusting the Y-axis.

Hmm... there's no distortion if I just use the standard Move Tool (I can magnify the picture for greater precision). Still, I'm wondering why adjusting the axes with the Ctrl + T method distorts things.
