I've already got sheet music for FF4-X, and Chrono Trigger/Cross

I need to find a big file of Zelda and Mario themes now, that shouldn't be so hard.

I'm still on the basics, but my mom is pretty much the best piano teacher in the tri-state area and she's accelerating me pretty well. As soon as I can play To Zanarkand I'll make a video of it for you guys.

I need some suggestions though. Other than the FF/Zelda/Mario stuff there has to be some other good themes I could play on the piano.

Just kidding. I don't think I'd ever play any of the Touhou games though, so you should hit me with some song recommendations.

Finding sheet music isn't that easy though. You should've seen my face when I saw the file for CT/CC and FF4-X.

Say what you want about the games the music still kicks ass.

12 might not have many songs that translate well to piano though.

FFXI you are absolutely right about. I'm trying to think of some good piano themes from the game though. Jeuno might translate well to piano. I'm sure Ronfaure would be good. Selbina no, and that's a shame because that's my favorite theme in the game. I wonder if Batallia Downs would?

Something to look into, I spose.

As a more serious recommendation, see if you can find some Secret of Mana/Seiken Densetsu 3 stuff. Most of it isn't overly complicated - Angel's Fear, for example - so that might be a good place to learn.

Yeah, easier stuff is certainly better for me at the moment because I'm still a beginner. I'm only just learning sharps and flats, but it's really exciting that moment where you realize you can read the music pretty easily just by looking at it. Especially when a week ago everything was Greek to me.

Ah, I downloaded stuff from video games...

Some Pokemon and some Kirby songs are actually fun to play on piano if you find the sheet music for it...

but otherwise... I don't have much more that'd interest you, I think... I mostly have stuff you already have, some abstract stuff that wouldn't be wise to have you go after, and then some animes... one of which has one song that'd be part of its video game, but... I doubt you'd want to play it...

Ultimate goal is To Zanarkand, but I will of course need a new ultimate goal after that.

The Kingdom Hearts series has a lot of good songs. Likewise, a lot of Pokemons soundtrack translate well into piano.

To Zanarkand isin't that difficult a piece and you could actually get to a point where you could do it within a year depending on how fast you learn.
